Technical Information

Frequency response : Frequency response measures the output level of a device at different frequencies
Distortion : Distortion is the alteration of the original shape and /or other characteristic
( Fs ) : Sampling Frequency
S/N ratio : Signal-to-noise ratio is a measurement that describes how much noise is in the output of a device, in relation to signal level
( dBu ) : Logarithmic voltage ratio with a reference voltage of V0 = 0.7746 volt ≡ 0 dBu
Link to  On-Line Conversion Voltage V to Voltage level Lu (dBu) and LV (dBV)

VFF Institute feedbacks :

In relation to our tests and activities of field recordings, as well as a preamp system for use with mobile equipment (recording units for 2nd unit teams) respectfully we recommend the following technical modifications:

1)
To install internal connector female 3.5mm stereo jack for stereo microphone (with 3.5mm mini plug).

2)
To install internal  connector two poles (not traditional plug with center pole = positive ) for connecting a second external module of rechargeable batteries (Li-MN / Li-ON / LiFePo4)
